Something I learned from this weeks presentation in Jessica's Presentation about child abduction and that' I found shocking was that 650 kids get abducted annually yet we bearly hear about. And it's a really big problem because if we bearly hear about this then we can see that not much is being done to aware people and to help find them.

Im not sure where her statistic came from but 90% of abductions actually happen from family members taking children that they didn't have custody of or something. What qualify as a kidnapping various greatly but Id imagine the actual child kidnappers is much lower than 650 every year in the bay area.
