Senior Documentaries

Today We watched Chris, Andres, and Erika. During Chris' documentary I felt it was a very powerful movie because it showed the everyday struggles students had to deal with in order to live with parents who are immigrants, or who are immigrants themselves. Andres' video displayed the powerful motive of the social media and fashion. It was very cool to see because I can relate to the fashion sense, because I love shoes. Erika's was also very cool to see because I am a HS senior and I feel that the costs are over whelming. I think that for schools to charge for mandatory things, or excessively charge makes it very unfair. I think that charging $80+ for a prom ticket is so unfair because there are kids who cannot afford to pay for it, or whose parents will have to suffer and sacrifice for their children. I think that this is a serious issue that should be checked, because a public school should not cost so much to attend to live the entire HS experience.
