Immigration

Going back to Chris's video about immigration, I relate to many things that he said because just like him, I also know a lot of people that were not born here and they tell me about disadvantages that they have had. They also struggle with the language because they came here at an older age and it has been harder for them to learn English. For me it hasn't been that way because my parents came here at a young age and my mom got pregnant here from both my brothers and me and we got that advantage but my parents also had to go through a lot coming over here. Starting off with how they made it here and the type of jobs that my dad had to do in order to provide for my mom and also how they both have to leave their families in order to give me and my brothers a better future. I think that everyone should be welcome in the U.S for the better, for they can have better opportunities and have a better way to live because now, other countries are not as safe as it is in the U.S.

  1. This really made me think because a lot of us know at least one person who has comes here and left everything they had and know to seek for a better future.Especially because we see how eventhough they had to start from scratch it's not stoping them from persuing their dreams, and to see that we take all these things for granted mainly the fact that we we're born here leading to other things like our families sucks because we really wouldn't be anywhere if it wasn't for them
