Ben Buie's Documentary

Ben had presented a very interesting and entertaining presentation about how we as teenagers use social media as not just a way of communicating, but creating, establishing, and maintaining different relationships with a mix between friends, families, and significant others. I think it's a really interesting topic to bring about because social media use among teenagers have just become as natural as waking up in the morning or falling asleep to us. Taking a deeper look into how different teenagers and young adults view social media use, instant messaging use, and then comparing to talking in person or on the phone was really good, especially since we each contain our own opinions and different thoughts. Having a parental view on the topic as well also brought their side in on what they think of teens and social media, as well as how their lives were different when they were kids without all the technological luxuries we sometimes forget about. Overall, Ben's presentation brought a very insightful view of technology use to teenager, especially having different sides of opinions from both parents and teens.
