Social Media and Technology

Social media and technology has affected our generation so much.  According to US Department of Health and Human Services, 75% percent of all teens in the United States have access to a smartphone or computer.  On average, people spend around 3 hours on their phone every day.  So has technology changed our generation for better or for worse?  Technology and social media has its advantages and disadvantages.  It allows people to connect around the world, express themselves, and social media is low costing.  On the other hand, people can display too much personal information on profiles, it can be dangerous if it is misused, and it can be another outlet for harassment and bullying.  So did it change for the better or worst?
