Public schools have a lot of room for improvement

I really found the documentary about the american school system interesting because it reflects many of the views I have had about the american school system for a long time. I think I have actually had conversations with people and made 90% of the same points she made in the video. furthermore (although I am not sure how to solve this problem) I think it is ridiculous that teens are put in a position that how they do in high school will permanently effect them for the rest of their lives during a period of time where most teens have no idea what is going on. Hormones and developing brains can cause teens to make poor decisions and those decisions have massive repercussions on our future.
