Why the Kicks Game amazes me
The kicks game amazes me in so many things. First of all the epitome of all sneaker heads dreams, Jordan's. Michael Jordan's. The babe ruth of shoes, the ferrari of cars, the king of all royalty, His Airness. Michael Jordan, perhaps the greatest player to ever step on the court, created his signature shoes in 1984. This became the hottest shoe to ever hit the market, but something that has always amazed me was how Jordan's went from, Competition to Commodity. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of the market, my brother's been a sneaker head since I could remember, so I get the occasional special release that comes out every few months, but I never understood how they became so extravagant. For example a pair of Air Jordan "Space Jam" 11's, a resale value could be upwards of $600, compared to being retail for $175. Something like that really amazes me, a shoe could make someone about $400 every time they can get their hands on a pair. Huge crowds like below occur in millions of retail stores around the United States all for a pair of sneakers to wear on your feet. I find it so fascinating that this one person, some say to be something of a god, created a pair of shoes to play basketball in, and generated over $1 Billion dollars in his life. I want hear what others think, because I love the shoes, but it just amazes me how the value has increased.

Bruh... I totally agree with you and it's just crazy how Micheal Jordan made so much money over these shoes the last couple decades. One thing that I find is insane that all of the shoes that keep coming out have already been released and he just making more and more money off of it.
