After hearing different witness testimonies including that of Officer Wilson. When hearing Officer Wilson's testimony, it was clear that he felt extremely threatened and feared for his life. He said was hit in the face. Looking at the pictures taken of him at the hospital I had a hard time even seeing them.
Other witnesses at the scene also gave their testimonies as well. In those Brown had his hands up , hands down, hands  reaching toward where he was just shot. His friend was hiding behind a blue or white Monte Carlo. It is hard to understand what is true and trustworthy when the color of the Monte Carlo kept changing colors.
Even with that, I still feel like Michael Brown was not a real threat after the second round of shots even if he was still moving. A medical examiner said that if he did not receive that bullet to the brain he still would have died from his other wounds. I don't think that Brown would have been able to kill Officer Wilson with fatal injuries. I feel like the final round of shots including the one to his head was unnecessary. It does not mean that I do not think Officer Wilson felt threatened.
In the end, an18 year old did die.

  1. This is very similar to the way I am feeling. With all of the different testimonies being given it is hard to know what is true or not. I think that every one is having this same issue with the case. Personally I think this case, so far, comes down to picking the testimonies that you believe are true and making your own story based on that.

    1. Yeah, there's also personal belief component. Like, I believe that officers sign up for a dangerous job when they become police officers, so I'm more willing to side with Brown, but a lot of people (understandably) feel that everyone has the right to protect their life at all times, and so will side with Officer Wilson.

  2. I was also kind of confused with the different versions of the story from each witness, I guess it's hard to remember all of the details when something like that is going on but it makes it really difficult to figure out what really happened. I agree that Michael Brown couldn't have done that much harm to Officer Wilson, after all he didn't have a weapon and clearly wanted to get away from the situation if he was trying to run away.

  3. I agree with you. From what we know at the moment, Wilson looked pretty stressed after shooting Brown and seeing his body on the ground. I read in my testimony that he was pacing back and forth a lot, looking worried. I saw the photos of his face after and if Brown did attack him at some point, it does not look like he hurt him badly.
