Crazy Yates
Andrea Yates a mother of 5 children, she was your normal house wife for the most part. Till little by little she started acting weird and turning crazy. She plead that she was being talked by Satan and if she didn't take her kids life , Satan would make her do something worse. She said that she was a bad mother that they were going to be bad kids so she had to do it. She was crazy before she did it and every hospital let her go saying she was fine to go home. She needed help but no one helped her, they just let her go from many hospitals and let her do that to her family. Satan really had taken over her.

I agree with Alexis on his post because I do feel like if the hospitals gave her more support (not saying they didn't giver her any) but if they gave her more and had her stay in the hospital longer, I feel like she would have started to not feel that way about the whole Satan thing and being insane and she would start to be the mother she was to her kids before she went crazy.

ReplyDeleteI think that we all find this case strange because we all think that we would have seen the signs. They all put their total faith in the hospitals and the doctors, so when they said she was okay, they thought just that. That is not to say that the doctors were right at all, but the family thought that at the time. I think that a lot of things could have been avoided, but it was hard to say at the time.
